Sacha VARONE is Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland in Decision Sciences. He is responsible of the statistic field in his department. He has managed several projects involving data acquisition. He started his carrier as a researcher at EPFL in op-erational research. After the completion of his PhD, he worked for Swisscom Innovation, the R&D department of the national Swiss telecommunication company. He was involved in Technology watch, business development (business models/plan), security of wireless net-works, classification, optimisation of wire and wireless networks. Sacha has also conducted a research in the field of wireless network management, thanks to a grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation. | |
